Introduction
Founded in
2001, the Society is a newcomer in the well-established field of Model
Engineering societies. It is based
at the
Bath & West Showground
near Shepton Mallet, Somerset in the south-west of the UK, and draws members from as far afield as Bristol and Yeovil. Members come from
many different walks of life and are of many levels of skill and experience - and all are still learning! Their interests include:

After just three years of hard work, March 26, 2008 saw the
completion of the main line of the Bath & West Railway The final length of
track was finished just before midday and, after suitable liquid blessing of
their work, a series of trains laden with members made the first ever circuit of
the complete line.
